This month, 1 Hotel Mayfair opened in one of London’s most-coveted neighborhoods. Located on Berkeley Street overlooking Green Park, the eight-floor property features 137 rooms and 44 suites, including the largest penthouse in Mayfair with panoramic views of the park. The debut of the hotel marks 1 Hotel’s entrance in Europe.

In addition to luxurious guestrooms and suites, 1 Hotel Mayfair is also home to Dovetale, a ground-floor restaurant with two-Michelin-star chef Tom Sellers at the helm. One of Dovetale’s unique features sees a Knickerbocker Glory trolley venture through the dining room to make the beloved dessert tableside. Dover Yard, a signature cocktail bar and lounge boasting a locally sourced program, also graces the property.

Guests of 1 Hotel Mayfair are also spoiled with access to Neighbors, a lively daytime café and evening bar, as well as a wellness area on the first floor. Here, guests can work out and enjoy Mayfair-specific treatments by Bamford Wellness Spa.

In its construction, 1 Hotel Mayfair utilized 80 percent of the existing structure, embracing sustainable initiatives and repurposing approaches. Nature is woven into details throughout the property, including more than 1,600 square feet of living green-trellised exterior walls covering the former hard surfaces, transforming the walls into natural vertical landscapes. Additionally, all guestrooms feature moss walls, with more than 200 plant species and individual plants found across the property.
