This month, Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa introduces a collection of amenities.
For the resort’s youngest guests, the Funky Fish Ocean Camp, an award-winning ocean adventure program, is available. Created for ages 4–17, minors can enjoy snorkeling, skim boarding, hiking and crafts every day, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., alongside certified instructors. Advanced reservations for the program are required, starting at $69 per person.
An amenity for all ages, the resort now offers a brand-new collection of rentable bicycles, for easy travel to the nearby downtown and Pompano Beach Pier. With historic lighthouses, plenty of shopping and charming restaurants, the area is worth exploring during any stay.
A new in-room menu redefines hotel dining, with quick and easy options for guests on the go. The Fresh Bites menu is offered 24 hours a day starting Sept. 1. Each menu item is designed for convenience and arrives quickly with no dining cart or trays. For the other menus throughout the resort, Starbucks lovers are pleased to see the popular brand making its appearance.
All guestrooms are now equipped with the Marriott guestroom entertainment platform, which includes access to guests’ own Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and Pandora accounts for simple streaming.
Along with the amenity changes, a new resort fee is imposed. The $20 daily fee covers high-speed WiFi, two beach lounge chairs and an umbrella daily, fitness class access for two, in-room bottled water and discounted spa services.
