Youth on Course, a non-profit organization offering access to scholastic opportunities through golf, recently announced its annual online auction and event benefitting junior golfers, Nov. 11–15.
Members play round after round of golf for about $5 or less, while proceeds from the event go to subsidized caddie programs, internships, college scholarships and more. Located in Pebble Beach, California, Youth on Course began as the charitable outreach program within the Northern California Golf Association. Since the program began in 2008, more than 220 students have benefitted from scholarships, totaling more than $1.4 million in financial aid.
Some of Youth on Course’s 45,000 members and even more supporters receive exclusive bidding access on unique experiences, including a round of golf and dinner at the incredibly private The Institute course, as well as the likes of the Lahinch Golf Club, Winged Foot, Riviera, Sand Valley and the Merion Golf Club — among many others.
