Like wine, authentic travel cannot be manufactured, only cultivated, and recently launched Giovanni Bonelli Collection embraces this sentiment as it debuts hotels, residences and wineries in and around the world’s great wine regions.
The collection’s inaugural offering, The Yount Leap Estate, opened this year, reimagining residential co-ownership through an exclusive vineyard estate where owners return season after season. The estate sits along Silverado Trail, overlooking Yountville, California, and offers a limited collection of one-eighth ownership residences for those seeking more than a second home. Professionally managed hospitality and vineyard and estate operations let owners enjoy six weeks of annual stays, estate Cabernet Sauvignon crafted by Marc Gagnon, and the chance to gather loved ones in an exceptional destination.
Next spring, the collection will expand in California with Calistoga Farms, a winery in the northern reaches of the region. This winery will feature a cellar and 25,000 square feet of underground caves for wine tastings and private dinner parties.
And, in 2028, the collection makes its international debut and inaugural hotel debut with Borgo Bonelli in Tuscany, Italy. The brand revives a 16th-century hamlet and winery in the Val d’Elsa countryside. This property will span nine hotel suites created from five carefully restored stone buildings, as well as two restaurants, a library, spa and fitness center, traditional pizzeria, and winery. In the coming years after opening, the property will open residences. Guests and members of the property can also expect reserve wines and a curated program of culinary, wine and cultural experiences.
A farther-off launch date for a France-based hotel is also on the horizon. Set to grace land in St. Emillion, this property will offer the refinement of a grand estate with deep and thoughtful experiences connecting guests to the region.

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons — feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.
