WestJet, Aeromexico Sign Codeshare

WestJet and Aeromexico teamed to sign a codeshare agreement in order to offer customers more travel options and enhanced connections. Under the terms of the new agreement, Aeromexico passengers are offered additional connecting services via Montreal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ) and Vancouver (YVR) to more than 10 Canadian destinations, including Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), Winnipeg (YWG), Ottawa (YOW), Halifax (YHZ), Deer Lake (YDF) and St. John’s (YYT), among others.

With the new deal, WestJet guests are provided more options from the carrier’s Canadian network to Mexico City (MEX) via Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. WestJet will also sell direct flights to and from Mexico from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

Both carriers will sell tickets for travel on each other’s entire network, including non-codeshare flights, as well as provide passengers the convenience of through check-in of bags to final destinations.
