Refinery Hotel is partnering with Wellthily Co. to launch the Wellth Series. The first of its kind in New York City, this program delivers the latest in wellness and health to residents and travelers alike, from fitness classes to expert panels on healthy living.
The Wellth Series kicks off with an action-packed event on Nov. 15 featuring healthy food and juice bars, fireside chats with health, nutrition and fitness experts, spinning classes from Cyc Fitness, and yoga classes from Provita. The series will continue with additional events slated for Dec. 13 and Jan. 17. Tickets are available for $35 per person.
Furthering the commitment to wellness and health, Refinery Hotel guestrooms will include healthy travel kits available for purchase containing products to help guests sleep well, workout in rooms and eat better. The hotel will also begin offering weekly boutique fitness classes to New York City residents and hotel guests in Hatbox, the hotel’s sidewalk-level event space, starting on Dec. 6.

Hotelier Ash welcomes its fourth hotel, Ulysses, to its collection. Situated in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, the 116-room hotel features an all-day café and late-night drinking parlor. The new hotel lies within the historic, nine-story Latrobe Building, a former 1912 apartment building with an early Italian Renaissance design. The hotel earns its name, Ulysses, from a ship that brought Bavarian immigrants to Baltimore at the turn of the century. The name also pays homage to James Joyce’s legendary and revolutionary novel and to the Greek hero, Odysseus.

United Airlines remains firmly committed toward sustainability in aviation. The latest development in its eco-conscious goals includes working with Oxy Low Carbon Ventures to commercialize the production of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) with biotech firm Cemvita Factory. Cemvita looks to develop a revolutionary new way to produce SAF by using carbon dioxide and synthetic microbes. Additionally, United Airlines Ventures (UAV) recently announced an equity investment in Fulcrum, and United has invested more in SAF production than any other airline in the world.
Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced a beverage partnership with iconic drink brand Coca-Cola. Norwegian Prima will be the line’s first ship in its fleet to carry Coca-Cola products as its official drink. The remaining Norwegian Cruise Line ships will implement Coca-Cola beverages by the end of December.
