WATG, one of the world’s leading integrated design firms, announced four new Hawai’i properties just in time to escape the cold winter weather. The company’s four new properties capture the tradition, culture and natural beauty of the island where the firm started its business in 1945.

Four Seasons Maui
In partnership with interior design group, Wimberly Interiors, WATG is unveiling Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki, Residence Inn by Marriott in Wailea, Four Seasons Resort in Maui and The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Waikiki. Each property offers a distinctive design that captures the culture and beauty of the islands, while maintaining the tradition of elegance and luxury for which these hotels are well known.
Maui’s stunning Four Seasons Resort captures the ancient traditions of the Hawai’ian Islands in its architecture and design. Hotel aesthetics were inspired by the surrounding natural landscape, from the white-sand beaches to the pristine blue water. The design characteristics are clean lined, tailored and fresh, but the overall atmosphere remains elegant and residential.
The Pacific Beach Hotel, located in the beachfront neighborhood of Waikiki in Honolulu, features newly designed guestrooms, part of the hotel’s overall $115 million redevelopment project that will re-emerge in fall 2017 as Alohilani Resort. The guestrooms will feature a contemporary beach house aesthetic with a distinguishing Hawai’ian style.
The Residence Inn by Marriott, an extended-stay property, features resort-like amenities providing guests with the convenience and comfort to live like a local without sacrificing a luxurious experience. The hotel features an open-air lobby with views of the Pacific Ocean, 200 rooms and stylish, modern suites with fully equipped kitchens, functional work spaces and large balconies from which to enjoy the stunning island views.

Four Seasons Maui
The Spa at the Ritz Carlton Residences opened last month, offering a relaxing environment complete with colors and textures inspired by the Hawai’ian natural landscape. Blues and whites, along with stone and timber accents, create a tranquil and serene atmosphere in which to enjoy the Spa’s high-end services and products.
“With Ritz-Carlton residents exacting standards in mind, the spa is more than just an amenity, it’s a lifestyle experience designed with that in mind,” said Shaleah Soliven, associate, Wimberly Interiors.
WATG is responsible for numerous award-winning properties since their 1945 founding in Hawai’i, including Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, The Fairmont Kea Lani and Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa. The addition of these four new properties is yet another success for the industry-leading design firm.
