Arriving just in time for summer, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi brings the iconic hotel brand to the Maldives.

The new property will span three private islands and only consist of villas. The private nature of the property allows for secluded enclaves where guests can escape the crowds and enjoy the tranquility of the scenery.

The resort houses 122 fully equipped villas, including a pool at each, uninterrupted views of the ocean and a private enclave. The villas are in three categories, spanning from reef to beach to overwater, and open into an indoor and outdoor deck with a swinging daybed, dining gazebo, infinity pool, in-water lounge and outdoor shower.

To supplement the luxurious accommodations, the property offers 11 specialty dining venues. Each offers distinct tastes and menus.

Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is the brand’s fifth property in the region. It is accessible via a 30-minute ride from Malé International Airport. The property is set to open July 1.
