Hilton just announced the signing of a new-build Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country and Waldorf Astoria Residences Texas Hill Country, both slated to open in 2027. Situated less than two hours from Austin and San Antonio, these new properties will include 60 dedicated hotel guestrooms and suites; 37 branded, multibedroom resort villas eligible to participate in a hotel rental program as 74 additional keys; and 50 branded private residences.
Designed in collaboration between FAB Studio, Studio CABAN, TIPLER Group, Studio Outside and Paul Duesing Partners, the resort embraces the beauty of Texas Hill Country with endless opportunities to view the sprawling environment from both accommodations and public spaces.

Residences will include single-story estates, villas and cottage-style Sunday homes ranging from three to five bedrooms, with custom options available. Fifty of these residences are strategically located along the edge of the 106-acre property, backing up to waterside views of Baron’s Creek and rolling hills.
The new properties will also include five food and beverage outlets. An 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, two resort-style pools, outdoor courtyards, specialty programming, sports courts and a kids’ club. About 6,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and a 4,000-square-foot event barn are available to host any event, too.

Beyond the properties, guests are invited to explore Texas Hill Country’s vineyards and rolling hills with farms and blooming wildflowers.
Waldorf Astoria Texas Hill Country will join the brand’s portfolio of more than 30 properties globally, with more than 30 others currently in the pipeline. Other upcoming openings include Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch and Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique.
