New York’s iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel is expanding to two new West Coast locations within the next five years. The first new luxury property will open this spring in Beverly Hills, Calif., with the second to follow in San Francisco by 2021.
Similar to the Waldorf property in New York, the soon-to-open Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills will serve as a hotel as well as a private residence with 170 rooms, 51 of which will be exclusive suites. At 12 stories tall, the Waldorf Astoria promises every guest and resident unparalleled views of the surroundings. For the best views of the City of Angels, guests can head up to the roof where the neighborhood’s largest rooftop pool will await.
Local Californian cuisine will be prepared daily in the restaurant run by acclaimed French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Guests will also have access to a spa of 5,000 square feet, meeting rooms comprising 6,300 square feet and a designated space for special events.
