W Hotels opened the brand’s first property in Costa Rica. W Costa Rica – Reserva Conchal is set on a 2,300-acre nature reserve catering to adventure travelers. Guests find surfing, horseback riding, ATV excursions, catamaran rides, snorkeling, nature experiences and more all within easy reach.

The property includes the brand’s first on-site beach club. Zona Azul Beach Club is situated on Playa Conchal, a white-sand beach guests access via a zip line from the hilltop Wet Deck if they so choose. The club features an infinity pool and international dining options, as well as nighttime entertainment.

Continuing the party and unique amenities indoors, the 150 guestrooms are all outfitted with an in-room draft beer tap filled with local brew. Each in-room bar extends onto an outdoor patio.  The Extreme WOW Suite features a full library, wrap-around deck, private pool and more. Another first for the brand, the AWAY Spa at the property includes an in-spa, full-service bar.
