W Hotels announced the opening of W Goa, marking the hotel company’s 50th property worldwide and its debut in India.

The hotel is ideally located on India’s internationally renowned Vagator Beach, situated between a lush jungle and beautiful coastline.

W Goa features 160 guest rooms, villas and chalets, from which guests can enjoy views of the Arabian Sea as well as the hotel’s 25 acres of exotic sandy beach set against the backdrop of a 500-year old Portuguese fort.

The hotel features a 14,000-square-foot spa, a gym and outdoor pool deck. The brand’s iconic Whatever/Whenever service delivers guests whatever they want, whenever they want it during their stay.

The hotel’s destination restaurant, Spice Traders, offers Pan Asian flavors, sweeping views of the ocean and alfresco dining. The hotel also features WET deck bar, Living Room and WOOBAR lounges, as well as Rock Pool, a highly-anticipated party destination in Goa, set upon a cliff above the ocean, blending bohemian vibes with breathtaking sunsets.

The opening of this hotel moves the company ahead in its goal to reach 75 hotels by 2020.
