Volaris shows its commitment to uniting friends and family on both sides of the border with new service between Leon, Guanajuato, to Los Angeles. The Mexican airline offers the route between Leon’s Del Bajio International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

“This is yet further proof that we are committed to uniting friends and family on both sides of the border at low fares, efficiently and safely,” said Holger Blankenstein, commercial director, Volaris. “To date we have transported nearly 5 million passengers to and from California, a number that is on the rise given our more than 160 flights per week, to the seven destinations we service in the state.”

Volaris is currently the Mexican airline with the highest number of routes throughout Mexico and the United States, offering 140 routes to 61 destinations, of which 20 are to the United States and 38 domestic.
