Flemish airline VLM announced it’s cutting almost all of its international routes in an effort to hone in on its charter flights. The company will drop all international routes from Antwerp (ANR) except the flights to London City (LCY) and Zürich (ZRH).
But, the company may add those routes back sometime next year if it acquires new planes to replace the current F-50 turboprops used for several years. Affected routes include flights to Birmingham (BHX), Aberdeen (ABZ), Cologne (CGN), Rostock (RLG) and
Munich (MUC). Some of these routes started as recently as last year.
The company said it can’t provide exact dates for the affected routes being discontinued, but, in a statement, said affected “passengers will be informed personally as soon as possible and will receive a full refund.”
