Virgin America, an airline known for its high-class service and unique flying experiences, recently introduced updates to its mobile app, available on both iOS and Android devices. Launched this past summer, Virgin America´s mobile app features a more aesthetically pleasing interface that makes the flight booking experience more than just a repopulation of the website´s capabilities and display. Users who wish to book a flight using the new app can do so in fewer than 60 seconds, with just a few clicks and swipes. As travelers move through the booking process using the app, cartoon images display destination-specific scenes. When checking in and selecting seats, travelers will instantly receive their boarding pass, which can be scanned at the airport gate and eliminate the need to print documents before travel takes place. In addition to the app´s real-time booking capabilities, Virgin America partnered with Spotify  to bring customized music playlists to passengers´ mobile devices. Playlists will feature songs representative of the traveler´s destination, setting the mood for a multimedia vacation experience.
