Viking announced its 2027/2028 ocean and expedition voyages are now opening for booking. Itineraries span all seven continents, with additional departures also now available across Viking’s ocean and expedition fleets, including its newest ocean ship, Viking Lyra, slated to hit the seas in 2028. Viking Lyra will spend her inaugural season in the Mediterranean and Scandinavia.
In addition to opening bookings, Viking also unveiled a new expedition itinerary, Into the Antarctic Circle, which offers travelers the rare chance to cross the 66°33’ line of latitude, which marks the Antarctic Circle. This 15-day trip departs from Buenos Aires and returns to Ushuaia.
Other journeys include South America & The Chilean Fjords (18 days), Viking Homelands (15 days), Australia & New Zealand (15 days), British Isles Explorer (15 days), Far Eastern Horizons (15 days), Great Lakes Collection (15 days), Alaska & the Inside Passage (11 days), Empires of the Mediterranean (10 days), Iceland’s Natural Beauty (eight days), and more.
