Airbus recently signed an agreement to provide flight and maintenance training services to Vietjet Air. Vietjet Air will now have access to an Airbus A320 Full-Flight Simulator to train the airline’s crew.
“Vietjet and Airbus have effectively collaborated with each other and this agreement once again marks a new milestone for both organizations. Airbus’s training expertise will help enforce Vietjet’s capabilities in flight and maintenance training to be in line with the internationally recognized standards,” said Dinh Viet Phuong, vice president, Vietjet. “Investment in an aviation institute is one of the most important goals in Vietjet’s sustainable growth strategies.”
Airbus training media and courseware will be provided for maintenance training services, and the Airbus Competence Training classroom will bring Airbus standards to Vietjet Air training practices.
