Ski season is around the corner, and Vail Resorts have some exciting announcements.
Park City will unveil a $15-million renovation at Grand Summit Hotel, now flagged as a RockResort — Vail Resorts’ luxury property line. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City, The Lodge at Vail, a RockResort and The Pines Lodge, a RockResort will also unveil fresh looks following renovations.
Several initiatives were put in place to help guests combat altitude sickness. One Ski Hill Place, a RockResort now helps guests better acclimate to the property with oxygen treatments, water bottles, sunscreen and more. Similarly, Altitude Recovery Kits from RockResorts Spas at The Lodge at Vail, a RockResort and The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort include oxygen, a peppermint oil foot rub, Zaca tablets and a Liquid IV mocktail.
Guests at The Osprey at Beaver Creek, a RockResort can enjoy an exclusive chef-led lesson about smoking, curing, fermenting and pickling food while sipping a smoky Old Fashioned cocktail. Heavenly Mountain Resort launched a GoPro Ski and Ride School, offering guests their own GoPros and a tour around the mountain by a GoPro-certified ski and ride school instructor. At the end of the tour guests can keep their memory card with the day’s footage, and will receive a discount to purchase their own GoPro and accessories at nearby retail locations.
Those traveling with canine companions can enjoy a complimentary bottle of Henry Wine at The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort and The Pines Lodge, a RockResort offers GoPros, spa treatments and more for furry friends with the Pines Pup Bucket List program.
