Go car free in Miami, Florida, thanks to a new partnership between Brightline and Uber. Brightline, a high-speed rail, works with Uber to offer guests a familiar rideshare option integrated within Brightline’s app. The partnership makes it easier for visitors and locals to get to and from all of Brightline’s five South Florida stations.

Brightline’s five current stations are Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, with upcoming routes planned to reach Tampa and Orlando. The brand also expects to expand west with a route between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Downtown Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Victor Valley, and Palmdale, California.

“Through this partnership with Brightline, Uber continues our work in complementing mass transportation and expanding transportation access in South Florida,” said Dmitriy Vanchugov, head of partnerships for transit, Uber. “By making Uber easily available to Brightline users, we can together bridge first and last-mile gaps and bring shared mobility options under one roof, making it more convenient and accessible for customers.”

With the partnerships, customers can now add private or shared Uber rides when booking a train ticket, all within the Brightline app or website. This process eliminates wait times and promises a ready ride waiting curbside to take passengers to their final destination. The collaboration also enhances Brightline+, a mobility service launched in 2021 that includes airport shuttles, event shuttles and even electric golf carts.
