Turkish Airlines officially opened its largest international lounge outside of Istanbul in Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan, on Feb. 5. The lounge marks the airline’s seventh lounge overseas.
Situated in Terminal 1 South Wing, Satellite 4, Gate 47, Turkish Airlines Lounge at Narita is open to the public following the completion of its first phase, with plans for its second phase soon underway.
Within the lounge, guests can expect a buffet-style selection of Turkish, Japanese and Far Eastern cuisines. In fact, the lounge is the only Turkish Airlines lounge outside of Istanbul with a Turkish pide oven, serving freshly baked pide for lunch and dinner. Other lounge features include relaxation areas, daybeds with apron views and a V.I.P. room for enhanced privacy.

Guests can also make use of practical facilities like shower rooms, accessible restrooms and a baby room. The lounge prioritizes connectivity with complimentary WiFi, flight information screens and a dedicated workspace.
The lounge accommodates up to 105 passengers, accessible to Miles&Smiles Elite Plus and Elite cardholders, Miles&Smiles Elite Corporate cardholders, Star Alliance Gold members and business-class passengers flying with Star Alliance member airlines.
With the addition of this lounge, Turkish Airlines now operates seven exclusive lounges at international airports, including Miami (MIA); Washington, D.C. (IAD); Bangkok (BKK); New York (JFK); Nairobi (NBO); and Moscow (SVO).
