Tivoli Kopke Porto Gaia Hotel, in Portugal’s Douro Valley, recently announced a partnership with Nacho Manzano, a three-Michelin-starred Spanish chef. Chef Manzano will oversee the hotel’s 1638 Restaurant & Wine Bar and Boa Vista Terrace. The hotel opens this month.

“Northern Portugal and Northern Spain share not only climate and character, but also a similar culinary essence, which I love to blend for a combined local and international appeal. Rooted in both tradition and modernity, the menus we will present are based on premium-quality ingredients, a deep culinary heritage, and a universal spirit,” said Chef Manzano. “Not forgetting that wines will take a special role, combining the pureness of classic culinary with the elegance of Kopke wines.”
Manzano’s tasting menu at 1638 Restaurant & Wine Bar by Nacho Manzano will showcase haute cuisine paired with Kopke wines. Boa Vista Terrace by Nacho Manzano will offer a casual sharing concept.
