Now that we are in the last months of 2024, it’s time to start thinking about your 2025 travel and Red Savannah has you covered. The luxury tour operator recently shared a curated list of destinations around the world that should be on your 2025 radar.
Traveling to Madagascar isn’t as hard as it used to be thanks to the addition of four new Emirates flights a week to Antananarivo (TNR). Madagascar is perfect for travelers looking to explore orchid-draped rain forests, catch a glimpse of unique wildlife and relax on calming beaches. Masoala, a new eco-lodge, offers an insight into the stunning surroundings and unique wildlife, most of which cannot be found anywhere else. Another great option is newly opened Namoroka Tsingy Camp, sitting on 135 miles of unspoiled national park land and surrounded by six different ecosystems.
Italy celebrates its Jubilee Year, or Holy Year in the Catholic Church, in 2025. Travelers visiting the destination can participate in religious celebrations, cultural events, and concerts and exhibitions highlighting the history and art of Rome. The official start of the Jubilee year will be Dec. 24 this year, when the Holy Doors of the four Basilicas of Rome are opened. Red Savannah can arrange private tours and access to many of the city’s palazzi and museums like Palazzo Doria Pamphilj.
With The White Lotus returning to our screens in 2025, Thailand, this season’s setting, is going to be a trending destination. The season will be filmed in Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui, and rumors are floating around that this season’s “guests” will be checking into Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. Featuring 60 standalone villas, each with its own plunge pool and stunning sea views, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui offers an ideal place to unwind after exploring Thai culture. Another resort rumored to be in the new season is Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. Here, you can treat yourself to the lagoon-side spa or take a Thai cooking class.
Another filming location, Norway will be the setting for Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 2, set to be released in May 2025. Red Savannah’s Europe specialist recommends the rural town of Åmot, nestled in the Norwegian fjords. This town offers travelers a chance to experience the authenticity and seclusion of Norway. Visit local farms, go on walking or e-biking tours, and try your hand at salmon fishing while taking in the beautiful and dramatic landscapes.
Island hopping the Greek islands has reached a new level with Hoper, Greece’s first helicopter airline that connects Athens to 10 islands. The scheduled service runs year-round and ensures a seamless and speedy experience for those who want to avoid ferries or other flight options. Red Savannah’s Greece specialist recently introduced a number of day adventures with tailor-made activities to discover private bays, beaches, coves and more.
