At Hotel ICON in Hong Kong, The Market’s Alaskan king crab-themed buffet has long been a favorite. Recently, the eatery debuted its all-new Alaskan King and Global Crab Feast buffet. Executive Chef Danny Ho sourced an exceptional selection of seasonal crabs from around the globe, including the signature Alaskan King Crab flown in from Japan’s Tsukiji Market, French Spider Crab, local Flower Crab and more.
All-day highlights include Crab Meat Steamed Egg, inspired by the Japanese chawanmushi; Spider Crab Porridge, simmered with spider crab, assorted crab meats and fresh seafood; and the signature Golden Crab Roe Hainan Chicken Rice.
One of the standout dinner offerings is the Spanish Rice with Seafood and French Spider Crab, prepared at the buffet’s live-cooking station. Returning dinner favorites include Grilled Alaskan King Crab Legs, Canadian Crab Leg, Wok Fried Crab with Ginger and Spring Onion, Wok Fried Crab with Salted Egg, Caviar Canapés, Pan Fried Foie Gras, Crab Meat with Salmon Roe Donburi (dinner and weekend brunch only), and Fry Caribbean Lobster (dinner and weekend brunch only). Weekday lunch and weekend brunch menus boast Alaskan Crab Braised E-fu Noodles with Cheese, Steamed Oysters and Grilled Tiger Prawns with Herb Butter. The weekend brunch buffets also include unlimited sparkling wine.
The buffet tables offer a variety of options, such as sushi/sashimi, chilled seafood, cold cuts, Indian curries and ice cream. Don’t miss the long-time favorite durian desserts.
The Market at Hotel ICON is a premier buffet restaurant with seven open kitchens that showcase a wide selection of global delicacies prepared by chefs from their respective countries.
