Mother’s Day is this weekend, and The Jefferson, DC will celebrate with a special pop-up Saturday, May 10. In collaboration with floral illustrator Meredith Wing 11 a.m.–2 p.m., Wing will create one of her signature “flower girl” illustrations as a gift for the moms enjoying brunch that day.

The keepsakes will feature real, pressed flowers illustrating a mom against a backdrop of the hotel’s iconic, ornate gates. Wing has worked with Herbal Essences, Burt’s Bee’s, Tory Burch, Cosabella, Soho House, Chantecaille, Feel Unique, Pantone, Coach, Grey Goose, Patron, Tacori, Forevermark – DeBeers, Cosmopolitan, Rebecca Minkoff, MUSE, Rabat, Strasburgo, Becca, HostCommittee, Wetherly Group, Thistle & Spire, Ciroc, Gemfields, HealthLab and RedCarter, among others.
The four-course Mother’s Day brunch will also be offered May 11 at The Greenhouse, the hotel’s signature restaurant. The special menu by Executive Chef Fabio Salvatore includes a selection of pastries for the table; an appetizer course ranging from savory sea scallops to a sweet strawberry pancake; main course options like Mediterranean branzino and baked Amalfi gnocchi; and desserts for the table like lemoncello tropézienne, açai berry coconut chia seed pudding and more.
Brunch reservations can be made on OpenTable; brunch is $140 per adult and $60 per child, 12 and under.
