The Hay-Adams in Washington, D.C., is offering a Transylvania Suite package for guests who book a stay at the historic hotel Oct. 30-31.
The luxury suite, which features views of Lafayette Park, will be decorated by Ociana Group designer Barbara Hamilton in a hauntingly elegant style just for the occasion, complete with cobwebs, skulls and some creepy personalized embroidery. An appropriately garbed butler will lead guests to their room, where they’ll find specialized cocktails and welcome amenities from Pastry Chef Josh Short. Later, a three-course dinner, paired with wine and dessert, will be served in the suite’s private dining room. A turn-down surprise will be delivered before bed, with an extravagant breakfast and Bloody Mary’s served in the morning.
Additional touches include a collection of horror films for guests to watch at their leisure and several surprise creative twists. The experience is priced at $2,995 per night (not including tax and gratuity).
