This October, The Bodrum EDITION hosts its third Zen Weekend in collaboration with artisanal lifestyle brand Caravana. Oct. 6–9, guests can indulge themselves in rebalancing wellness sessions aligning the body and soul before winter starts.
Throughout the weekend, guests can take part in a series of classes from dawn to dusk. Classes include sunflow yoga, intensive sound therapy, primal movement and rebirth meditation, all hosted by a variety of wellness experts.
Zen at EDITION offers guests the chance to reset and rebalance with a focus on the importance of breathwork, meditation and a positive lifestyle. Guests also enjoy a range of healthy meals from the hotel’s restaurants, KITCHEN and Inari. The weekend ends with a Full Moon Celebration in collaboration with Berk Buyukakin. This getaway leaves guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Highlights of the weekend include:
Hatha Yoga
This form of yoga is most often identified with the practice of basic yoga postures, but also focuses on breathing techniques and relaxation.
Poolwatsu Water Therapy
Watsu, a modern hydro-therapeutical practice, combines elements of muscle stretching, joint mobilization, massage and Shiatsu. Guests immerse both their minds and external self to promote deep relaxation through aquatic bodywork.
Sound Therapy
An ancient practice used to guide people into a state of deep relaxation and peace, sound therapy incorporates various musical instruments. These instruments play to put the mind at ease and enable the mind to expand consciousness into a dream-like state.
When you aren’t in any classes, enjoy the warm weather, relax by the hotel’s infinity pool and soak up the October sun. Treat yourself to the state-of-the-art spa, salon and Turkish Hammam, or get your workout in at the fitness center.
