Hertz put together an exciting offering for travelers in France. The new Voyage à la Française experience gives travelers a taste of luxury while exploring some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes. The experience includes five different routes, one for each sense. The first of the five is available now and focuses on smell, with special focus paid to France’s lavender fields and Côte d’Azur.
When guests book the Voyage à la Française experience, they receive a video highlighting the most scenic routes; a printed travel guide to illustrate travelers’ best bets for prime olfactory experiences; and a free additional driver allowance. Guests take to the road in the Alpine A110, a modern take on the vintage automobile by the same name. The two-door coupe is the perfect thing for winding one’s way around the southeast of France.
The olfactory Voyage à la Française route takes travelers from Valensole, the home of gorgeous lavender fields, to Lac de Sainte-Croix for lake views and fresh air. Then, it’s off to Grasse, the perfume capital of the world, before ending at Côte d’Azur, with visits in Monaco, Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez.

Luckily, North America is littered with ski resorts that are no longer just for skiing. Nationwide, winter-wonderland theme parks invite families to not only explore the magic of a snow-covered mountain but also retreat inside for hot cocoa, board games or a run- of-the-mill wintertime visit to an indoor waterpark.
