Want to swim in the coolest hotel pool in the world? The Beresheet Hotel in Israel, part of the Isrotel Exclusive Collection, may provide that experience for you. The hotel pool at this luxury resort has been voted Travel Agent’s 2018 Coolest Hotel Pool in the World, reigning over competitors including last year’s winner, Westin Austin Downtown.
The pool at the Beresheet Hotel sits high on a cliff top, offering views of the world’s largest erosion crater, Ramon Crater in the Negev Desert.
Guests can enjoy meals, cocktails and hot and cold drinks poolside from the Rosemary Restaurant or lobby bar.
The resort itself has 39 ground suites with their own private pools and including access to the outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The indoor pool, while not voted the coolest, is heated and plays relaxing music underwater.
Additional features hotel include the luxurious Carmel Forest Spa, including treatment rooms, a sauna and a hot tub, relaxation areas and a Turkish hammam.
Last year’s winner, and this year’s runner-up, is still worthy of mention. Westin Downtown Austin’s main pool, Azul, is one of the city’s highest rooftop pools and bars. It features expansive views of Austin, luxurious cabanas, a fire pit and custom cocktails on tap.
