Swiss International Air Lines opened a new first-class lounge in Terminal A of Zürich Airport (ZRH), which officially opened its doors in early March.
The new lounge reflects the design of the airline’s original first-class lounge in Zürich Airport’s Terminal E, while offering lounge suites, a lounge club with leather sofas, a business zone, a meeting room with a view, a relaxation room and a smokers’ lounge — among many other features.
The SWISS First-Class Lounge A will be open every day, 5:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m., where guests can check their luggage directly at the welcome desk, pass through the lounge’s security checkpoint and check their coats in locked cubbies.
Within the lounge, a barista bar offers a variety of specialty coffees, cocktails and two dining options. Select from the à la carte restaurant menu and made-to-order dining station before being taken directly by limousine from Lounge A to the departure points, once ready for take-off.
SWISS will also introduce an exclusive new chauffer service in Zurich for inbound first-class passengers arriving in Terminals E and B, or at a remote aircraft stand. The service collects guests directly at the aircraft door before bringing them to the relevant passport or security control.
The lounge is accessible to SWISS first-class passengers as well as HON Circle members of the Lufthansa Group.
