Last month, the St. Regis Venice opened with the largest waterfrontage in Venice and a location within five former Venetian palaces dating back to the 1600s. The property debuted following a two-year full renovation of the former Grand Hotel Brittania, originally opened in 1895.

The property offers nearly 200 guestrooms and suites, many with private terraces or Juliet balconies. A secluded hotel garden is open to both guests and locals. The St. Regis Venice is the third St. Regis property in Italy, following The St. Regis Florence and The St. Regis Rome.

The St. Regis Venice sits at the mouth of the Grand Canal, giving guests access to the Santa Maria della Salute Basilica, Punta della Dogana Museum, Piazza San Marco and Calle XXII Marzo. The hotel’s signature restaurant is Gio’s, serving seasonal Venetian and Italian fare. From the adjacent garden, guests and locals can hail a drink from the roaming Spritz Trolley. The intimate Arts Bar serves art-inspired cocktails combined with modern jazz.
