On Jan. 15, Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday announced Spirit Airlines plans to add daily non-stop seasonal service from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) beginning April 25. Daily service from Baltimore departs at 10:45 am and from Philadelphia at 7:25 a.m. The daily flight to Baltimore leaves at 5:20 a.m. and to Philadelphia at 9:50 a.m. According to Bill Golden, president of Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, “Adding daily non-stop service from Baltimore-Washington and Philadelphia, two primary feeder markets, will be a boon for the golf community.” Myrtle Beach offers golfers more than 100 golf courses.
