SkyTeam opened an exclusive lounge at Hong Kong International Airport Oct. 27. This marks the fourth SkyTeam-branded lounge to open around the world, open to first- and business-class passengers and Elite Plus members flying on the 12 member airlines serving the airport. This is the first branded lounge in the Greater China region, and is focused on passenger wellbeing.
At around 1,000 square meters, the lounge can accommodate up to 230 passengers and offers a range of high-end amenities including a yoga room; a noodle bar with cooked-to-order items; and a Living Wall, a botanical feature with more than 50 different plant species. The wall is a highlight of all SkyTeam lounges worldwide, designed to bring a touch of nature to the travel experience. Also available at HKG and all SkyTeam lounges are work stations, charging points, complimentary WiFi, shower facilities, a hot and cold buffet of international cuisine and a bar selection.
Located in Terminal 1 and open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., the lounge joins those at London Heathrow, Istanbul Ataturk and Sydney International Airport. The SkyTeam member airlines serving Hong Kong International Airport are Aeroflot, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines and Xiamen Airlines. The airlines offer more than 183,000 seats weekly from the airport.
Celebrating 15 years as an alliance, SkyTeam’s 20 member airlines offer flights to more than 1,050 destinations in 177 countries from top hubs around the world.
