Sixt rent a car, the global rental car company with more than 2,000 locations in 100-plus countries, opened its newly expanded location at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The opening marks the company’s fifth this year alone. Sixt, which specializes in “affordable luxury” vehicles, is the No. 4 car rental brand in America, with 2017 revenue at $366 million. The company has operated in the United States since 2011.

Phoenix with just two counters, today we’re expanding to five, and are projecting we will double that yet again in the next few years. We’re increasing the size of our premium fleet as well…all to keep up with ever-increasing demand for Sixt in Phoenix,” said Daniel Florence, COO, Sixt North America. “We’re thrilled to have this opportunity, and grateful to the citizens in and travelers to PHX for giving us a try. This newly-expanded location will make a great experience even better.”
This year, Sixt opened a new location at San Antonio International Airport, added an upgraded facility at Tampa International Airport and a new location at Fort Myers International Airport.
The company now has more than 750 employees serving more than 53 rental locations located in California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Washington, Texas, Connecticut, New Jersey, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona and Massachusetts.
