Six Senses Kocataş Mansions opened late last month along the Bosphorus Strait. The property is housed within two restored, Ottoman-era mansions in Istanbul. The resort’s urban decor incorporates architectural features and artifacts from the mansions.

The property includes 45 guestrooms and suites, multiple lounges and a gallery. The on-site Toro Latin GastroBar provides craft cocktails and Pan-Latin and Asian cuisines. An all-day café offers Bosphorus views and pastries.

Guests are invited to make use of the on-site Guest Experience Maker, the brand’s version of a concierge, to assist guests in making the most of their time in Istanbul’s Sariyer district. The property also boasts its own private boat to take guests on water sightseeing excursions.

“Ideally situated in the city’s prosperous northernmost district with its vibrant outdoor cafés and garden areas, this remains truly the best spot for a Six Senses hotel in Istanbul. It will appeal to local residents in search of an urban wellness fix and great dining experiences, and also to international travelers who wish to explore the city,” said Neil Jacobs, CEO, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas.
