Now frequent U.S. visitors to Singapore can take advantage of the new United States of America–Singapore Trusted Traveler Program. The cooperative initiative provides citizens of both countries easier immigration clearance through automated clearance facilities at major travel checkpoints. To qualify, U.S. passport holders must already hold a U.S. Global Entry Program membership, have a passport valid for at least six months and a history of visiting Singapore at least three times in the last year. Any applicant between the ages of 6 and 18 is required to include a parent or legal guardian during the enrollment session. The applicant’s birth certificate and parent’s passport are required. An online, English-language application is required before enrollment.
