The largest and most over-the-top cruise ship in the world, Symphony of the Seas, just set sail on its maiden voyage in the Mediterranean. The Royal Caribbean ship left the Barcelona port where it will return after a week of sailing from Palma de Mallorca to Florence, Pisa, Naples and Rome.

Onboard features of the ostentatious ship include laser tag, Broadway shows, adventure productions, water slides, rides, ice-skating, wall climbing, a bionic bar and much more.

The ship itself is almost a quarter-mile long and is breaking records across the board. It has the tallest waterslide, the fastest internet and more artwork than the Louvre has paintings.

The liner carries up to 6,680 guests, has 22 dining options, 24 pools and 2,750 cabins. Even the interior cabins are equipped with “virtual views,” or floor-to-ceiling displays making guests feel as though they have a balcony.

There are 18 decks on the ship, 24 elevators and seven “neighborhoods” with different themes. The luxury cruise will set passengers back at a price range of around $400 to $2,000 depending on accommodations and destinations.
