Royal Caribbean announced more cruising itineraries for the 2020-21 winter season, with new sailings throughout the Caribbean from ports in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.
Adventure of the Seas moves to a Texas port in 2020, takings its spot as the largest ship sailing short getaways out of Galveston. Itineraries for the winter season include four- and five-night sailings to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. Liberty of the Seas also sails year-round from Galveston on seven-night Caribbean cruises.
Enchantment of the Seas moves from Galveston to San Juan, Puerto Rico, from whence she sails seven-night itineraries into the Southern Caribbean, with stops at destinations such as Barbados and Dominica. San Juan is already Freedom of the Seas’ year-round homeport; the ship receives refurbishments in March 2020.
Following renovations, Explorer of the Seas begins itineraries out of Miami, with trips to Bonaire, Curaçao, Aruba, Haiti and the Bahamas. Independence of the Seas also returns to Fort Lauderdale in 2020, with trips to the Western Caribbean and Nassau; it’s joined by Vision of the Seas, with sailings to St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, Antigua, St. Maarten and Aruba.
Lastly, Rhapsody of the Seas returns to Tampa in 2020, with new itineraries to Colón and the Panama Canal over 11 nights, and shorter trips to Grand Cayman, Belize and Mexico.

The cruise line debuted two sleek new superyachts as well as the brand’s first-ever river ship on the Seine River, slated to launch in 2027. Emerald Raiya and Emerald Zara join the fleet in 2027, sailing the Seychelles, Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean. Both ships will offer spacious, all-suite accommodations; an expansive Sky Deck with private cabanas and swim-up marina platform; open-air fitness area; multiple dining venues; Elements Spa; and more. Each yacht accommodates 128 guests.
