Turn back time during the fourth-annual celebration of Deco on the Delaware, formally known as Jazz Age on the Delaware, Aug. 4.
The swinging event is held on the historic Glen Foerd estate, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., when guests arrive in their finest 1920s-inspired attire. The event is a non-profit fundraiser that benefits environmental education programs in the area.
Guests enjoy live music, costume competitions, dining, cocktails and dancing along the Delaware River. Pack a picnic and enjoy the view, or peruse the property for more fun and events.
Dress up to not only fit in with the times, but also for the chance to win Most Fashionable Flapper or Most Dapper Gent. The best dressed win a prize and bragging rights for the following year. Head inside the mansion for hair and makeup demonstrations before entering in the competition, or just check out the artwork on a tour.
