One of Barcelona’s newest luxury hotels is located at the corner of modernity and tradition. As the name indicates, The Corner Hotel is situated on a flat corner in Barcelona’s L’Eixample neighborhood, a vast area of the city full of Modernist buildings and grid-like avenues.
A grand ground floor is accented with black and gold decor, with a decadent bar and casual dining lounge located to the left of the main entrance.
Amenities available to guests include a terrace solarium, an outdoor pool (open from April to September), a business center, a buffet breakfast, meeting rooms and free access to Duet Fit Universitat.
If your visit involves a Sunday, take advantage of the hotel’s Brunch Around The Corner with music from Barcelona-born Joan Tena. Brunch is available 12:30–3:30 p.m. and costs €21 per person.
Guests at The Corner are within close proximity to Mercat del Ninot, a local market with 81 stalls, tasting bars and stunning architectural elements. Craft beer fiends can visit BierCab, BrewDog or Garage Beer Co., all within walking distance of The Corner Hotel, while cocktail enthusiasts can tickle their fancy at the nearby Gato Negro or Mary Boone Bar.
