It’s time to start your engines: From May 3 to 5, race lovers can immerse themselves in the fast-paced thrills of Formula 1 racing at the Miami International Autodrome when the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix gets underway at Hard Rock Stadium. Practice races along the 3.36-mile course and its 19 turns kick off May 3 followed by qualifying races on May 4

The weekend culminates with Sunday’s highly anticipated Grand Prix.

Now in its fourth year, the race includes top challengers from around the globe competing in 1,000-horsepower open-wheel cars. Spectator seating includes 11 grandstands, luxury hospitality tents and the coveted Marina area. Choices include the 190,000-square-foot Paddock Club, offering a luxury rooftop club with views of the starting grid; the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team Suite overlooking the starting grid and pit lane; and the Championship Club, with a terrace looking over Turn 5 on the track.

The fun includes plenty of food and entertainment. This year’s musical line-up includes Ed Sheeran, Kaskade and a concert performance by “The King” Don Omar. While you’re there, be sure to sample fare from top local eateries; and Latin American cuisine by James Beard Foundation Award-winning celebrity Chef Michelle Bernstein, which will be served at both the Yacht Club and MIA Marina admission areas.

Can’t make it this year? You can still get yourself into racing mode with the LACORSA Grand Prix Board Game, celebrating Italian racing heritage with a clever design nod to classic Italian Grand Prix posters and sleek racing cars from the 1960s. The game was created by designer and motorsports lover Mark Haskins, who drew upon his degree in Transportation Design from the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena to deliver a fun game of strategy incorporating real-world racing aspects such as bluffing, tactical positioning, a final lap and championship.
