On the first floor, atop a sweeping central staircase, Marcel Bar & Bistro is a Bauhaus-inspired design in primary colors and sleek shapes. The modern European restaurant offers cuisine celebrating the area’s abundant produce. Next to the restaurant is a stunning wine cellar where guests can browse, talk to sommeliers and choose their bottles. The name of the restaurant pays homage to the late Marcel Breuer, a renowned architect whose only Australian building is heritage-listed and located in Penrith.
