Preferred Hotel Group announced a series of updates to its I Prefer Hotel Rewards loyalty program, developed to address the shifting demands of today’s travelers.

Two new membership tiers, Explorer and Authority, debut. With these new tiers, member benefits for the existing tiers, Insider and Elite, were also revised. Insider offers points for every eligible stay, early check-in, late check-out, room upgrades based on availability, complimentary Internet and more. Explorer includes the same and a welcome amenity and 20 percent bonus points earning per eligible stay. In the Elite tier, receive all those same benefits and 50 percent bonus points earning, a digital anniversary gift and a distinct food and beverage offering. The invitation-only Authority tier includes all those benefits and complimentary daily breakfast for two, concierge lounge access, a dedicated reservation line and the ability to gift Elite status to three friends per calendar year.

Members now have the option to book Reward Nights with points; refer friends and family to I Prefer and receive points through the new Refer-A-Friend bonus; and access other recent enhancements including I Prefer Auction, I Prefer Loves and Points Extensions.
