Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s New Terminal 3 North Concourse is slated to debut in 2027, adding more than 170,000 square feet of space for six new passenger gates. The new concourse will further elevate the passenger experience at the airport, complete with new shops, restaurants, a lounge and views of Camelback Mountain.
The new concourse will feature a mezzanine, including a lounge with an exterior terrace for passengers to enjoy mountain views. Proposed food and beverage locations include two quick-serve restaurants, a coffee café, and a full-service restaurant and bar. The concourse design aims to maximize daylight access.
“Our new six gate concourse will provide airlines with more space to do business and also provide us with an opportunity to add new passenger services such as additional concessions and an inviting lounge featuring stunning views and premium amenities,” said Chad Makovsky, aviation director, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The new concourse is designed by HOK in collaboration with DFDG Architecture, with an overall budget of $368 million so far. PHX’s current Terminal 3 processes about 25 percent of passenger traffic annually, serving more than 52.3 million passengers in 2024.
