The Philadelphia Flower Show announced earlier this year the event would be held outdoors for the first time ever this year, June 5–13. The show’s theme is “Habitat: Nature’s Masterpiece,” and the nature of FDR Park will host the event.

With the outdoor venue, the Philadelphia Flower Show will expand in size by 45 percent to nearly 450,000 square feet of exhibits, activities and open space. In order to keep public safety first and foremost, the show will feature reserved tickets for morning or afternoon sessions, maximum occupancy limits, required masks, social distancing, and adherence to CDC and state guidelines. On June 5, the morning session is 8 a.m.–1 p.m., and the afternoon is 1–5 p.m. From June 6–13, sessions are 10 a.m.–2 p.m., and 2–7 p.m.

The various districts of the flower show will include Design District, providing guests with a 360-degree view of large-scale floral and landscape displays; Plant District, a showcase of plants at the peak of perfection; and Garden District, the educational area of the show. A variety of food and beverage options will be offered, and ancillary events will also be held.
