Paradisus by Meliá is committed to immersing guests in the culture and traditions of each local destination. On the heels of its Embrace Your Nature program, the all-inclusive brand now launched the Embrace the Culture program.

On Aug. 27, Paradisus Playa del Carmen will celebrate Mayan culture with saasil, a Maya word meaning light. Guests can enjoy live music and a drone show illuminating the sky. Paradisus Cancun, committed to supporting local designers, partnered with local designer Gaby Lastra on July 31 for a special runway presentation of her Piña Colada Swimwear.

On Aug, 6, International Beer Day, Paradisus Los Cabos will offer guests a tasting of local Mexican craft beers, an Art Walk with different beer samplings and several beers throughout its restaurants and bars. Paradisus Playa del Carmen will host Beer Garden Night, with craft beers, tapas and live music on the beach.

Paradisus Los Cabos hosts a 90-minute master class with certified sommelier and tequila expert Diego Pacheco. The class also features a tequila food pairing. On Aug. 28, Paradisus Cancun will celebrate the new song “Cancun my Love,” by Alberto Jimenez Mora and Armando Carmona Quezada with an art gallery, runway show and concert.
