Norwegian Cruise Line revealed features and amenities for Norwegian Bliss, the line’s 16th ship, which will sail to Alaska and the Caribbean with select voyages to the Mexican Riviera in June 2018.
Norwegian Bliss offers several firsts for the cruise industry, including the largest competitive racetrack at sea and an open-air laser tag course.
“Norwegian Bliss will no doubt be our most incredible ship to date,” said Andy Stuart, president and CEO, Norwegian.
The new ship boasts an expansive pool and sun deck, with two pools and six infinity hot tubs scaling the side of the ship. The ship’s Aqua Park includes two multistory waterslides and a high-speed Ocean Loops free-fall slide.
The new Q Texas Smokehouse boasts traditional Southern flavors, complemented by a lively country music and dancing scene. Los Lobos offers an upscale take on traditional Mexican and South American favorites. Sweets will be served at Coco’s, a new á la carte dessert venue and, in a nod to the ship’s homeport of Seattle, a full-service Starbucks will be available.
In addition to creative new culinary options, guests can enjoy drinks at The A-List Bar, The District Brew House and The Cellars, A Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar.
During the inaugural summer season, Norwegian Bliss offers exciting nightlife at The Waterfront, an outdoor promenade with alfresco dining, bars and lounge spaces. The ship also boasts an expansive casino, featuring slot machines and table games.
