New York’s legendary Knickerbocker Hotel opens its unrivaled 7,800-square-foot rooftop bar and terrace, St. Cloud, boasting incredible views of the city’s skyline, on June 8.

Named after the late 19^th-century hotel that originally occupied The Knickerbocker site, St. Cloud offers a seasonal menu with small plates and signature menu items created by renowned Chef Charlie Palmer as well as a progressive cocktail program and craft bottled beers and a signature cigar lounge from celebrated tobacconist Nat Sherman.

“The original Knickerbocker Hotel played host to New York’s elite, including personalities such as John D. Rockefeller, George M. Cohan and F. Scott Fitzgerald. The hotel developed a reputation for its lavish parties and unmatched nightlife,” said Jeff David, managing director, The Knickerbocker. “St. Cloud draws inspiration from the hotel’s rich history and legacy, while providing guests with today’s ultimate rooftop bar experience at the crossroads of the world.”

Originally opened in 1906, the hotel sits on the southeast corner of 42^nd Street overlooking Times Square between Broward and Bryant Park. The historic property, registered as a New York City Landmark since 1988, offers 330 guestrooms, including 31 suites, as well as a fitness center, a 2,200-square-foot event space for up to 250 guests, a ground level grab-and-go café, a signature restaurant and bar.
