Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of its sixth property in Dubai and its first international 5-star hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, a lakefront community minutes from the city’s business district. The 168-room Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Tower features three dining and entertainment options, seven spa treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor infinity pool. The hotel also offers two private function rooms and eight meeting rooms with expansive views of the area’s lakes and Dubai’s skyscrapers. “Our setting is striking and we have worked hard to ensure that the personality of the hotel is relaxed, inviting and unpretentious as well as providing a lively atmosphere that reflects our inspirational surroundings,” said Hayden Edgtton, the hotel’s general manager. Mövenpick also operates properties in the city areas of Deira, Bur Dubai, Jumeirah Beach, Ibn Battuta Gate and Al Mamzar.
