Delta Air Lines launched non-stop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport in Colombia. The new flight was a pivotal move to connect large communities, business travelers and families between the two cities.
“The most rewarding part of working for an airline is being able to offer services that bring families together while providing them with a stress-free and entertaining flight experience, and this is what our new daily, year-round service will do just in time for the holidays,” said Ricardo Garnica Montoya, sales manager, Colombia, Delta Air Lines. “We want to thank our customers for their loyalty and wish each of them a happy holiday season and the best for the New Year. For 2020 and beyond, we look forward to providing business travelers, tourists and the Colombian community with award-winning service on this new route and to connecting points throughout the world from our New York-JFK hub.”
Delta’s presence in New York City grew more than 65 percent in the past 10 years and operates more than 520 departures from LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Delta is committed to ensuring every customer’s trip, regardless of the ticket price. First Class customers enjoy seasonal menus and can order their first choice before their flight; Delta Comfort+ customers enjoy three additional inches of legroom, early boarding and dedicated overhead bin space; and all customers have seatback entertainment screens, including Delta Studio’s free content, satellite TV and content from Disney+.
