California invites travelers to visit in 2025 and experience exciting new attractions, openings and events taking place throughout the state.

Museums

Several museums are slated to debut throughout the state, including Santa Ynez Chumash Museum and Cultural Center in Santa Ynez, The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center in San Diego, and Counterculture Museum in San Francisco.

Accommodations

Dozens of hotel openings and re-openings take place in 2025. Highlights include Appellation Healdsburg, Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center, Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa BarbaraUnder Canvas Yosemite and AC Hotel by Marriott Pasadena.

Attractions

A first-of-its-kind immersive experience, Jewels of the Sea: The Jellyfish Experience will open at SeaWorld San Diego in spring 2025. The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Springs plans to expand in 2025, with a new splash pad and café/marketplace. LEGOLAND California’s Driving School will reopen in a new location in 2025. Disneyland Resort celebrates its 70th anniversary, starting May 16 through summer 2026.
